Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We're seeking a visionary cloud infrastructure architect to build our technology foundation from the ground up. This role focuses on designing and implementing a scalable, secure, and high-performing platform that meets our growing needs.

You'll have the unique opportunity to shape our cloud strategy, make critical decisions on architecture, and drive the development of our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform. Your expertise will help establish patterns that will be used for years to come.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement our cloud platform on GCP, making strategic decisions on network topology, data encryption strategies, and scalability.
  • Develop our first proper CI/CD pipeline, reducing deployment times from 30 minutes to sub-5 minutes.
  • Build our infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform, establishing best practices for future growth.

Technical Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in GCP services and cloud architecture.
  • Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Go or Python for automation.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven track record of building platforms that scale.

This role offers the chance to define how we build and ship software at scale. You'll work closely with our CTO and engineering leadership to develop our infrastructure philosophy and transform our current infrastructure into a world-class platform.
