Job Opportunity: Director of Financial Leadership

As a Director of Financial Leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of monthly and year-end financial statements, leading the preparation of periodic financial reports, and conducting month-to-month analysis and balance sheet documentation. Additionally, you will ensure that financial reporting procedures are aligned with corporate standards.

  • Produce high-quality financial statements that meet statutory requirements.
  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial reports and analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage the activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, payroll, journal entries, and cash management.
  • Collaborate with corporate stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for growing the finance function in India to support global operations.
  • Lead the year-end audit process, ensuring financial statements comply with relevant standards and practices; interact with external auditors.
  • Promote the use of standardized processes and tools across the region based on best practices/strategies.
  • Partner with FP&A and Global Finance to provide support for planning initiatives through financial analysis and management information, reports, and recommendations.
  • Ensure all internal controls and procedures are in place and effective.

Certifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 14 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in a multi-site environment and international operations
  • Experience managing a full-cycle accounting team

Key Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Knowledge of SAP helpful but not mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
