Job Title: Debt Manager

The primary function of this role is to oversee and manage the collections department, ensuring effective operations and strategic growth. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of the department, as well as managing associated agencies in their assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and undertake collections process for debts that have been assigned
  • Regularly track the portfolio for specific buckets for the assigned area
  • Track, control the delinquency of the area, bucket-wise, DPD wise and focus on non-starters

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving targets from agencies, following up with default customers, adhering to collection processes and legal guidelines, tracing out absconded default customers, and initiating recovery processes. This requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
