Statistical Programming Lead
Overview:
Provide advanced technical expertise to drive process methodology for meeting clients' needs. Develop and implement integrated programming solutions serving the full spectrum of statistical programming requirements.
Technical Expertise and Leadership
Provide technical expertise, leadership, and internal consulting services including specifications and user needs analysis for complex project or client requirements.
Lead in the development of programming specifications, as appropriate, for complex studies, providing advanced technical expertise with internal and external clients.Quality Assurance and Control
Perform, plan, coordinate and implement quality control checks for source data and report periodic data issues. Interpret project level requirements and develop programming specifications for complex studies. Estimate programming scope of work, manage resource assignments, communicate project status, and negotiate project timelines for deliverables. Use and promote established standards, SOP and best practices. Provide training and mentoring to SP team members and Statistical Programming department staff.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Math's, Computer Science, or Statistics
- Typically requires 7+ years of prior relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience in lieu of degree
- Advanced knowledge of statistics, programming, and/or clinical drug development process;
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
