Technical Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Technical Team Lead who can excel in facilitating Agile methodologies and possessing strong technical knowledge.

The ideal candidate will oversee cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to Agile principles, resolve team obstacles, and act as a liaison between product, engineering, QA, and UX teams.

This role requires a focus on driving product success, fostering a delivery mindset that balances speed, quality, and user impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Agile Facilitation & Coaching
    • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Guide the team in Agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid), promoting a mindset of continuous improvement.
    • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and delivery discipline.
  • Technical Project Delivery
    • Collaborate with Engineering Leads to plan sprint deliveries aligned with release schedules.
    • Track sprint progress using tools like Jira; ensure that technical debt, quality standards, and NFRs are part of planning.
    • Proactively identify delivery risks and technical blockers, driving resolution through collaboration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and UX Designers to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
    • Facilitate clarity in story definitions, handoffs, and design dependencies with the UX team.
    • Ensure backlog items are well-scoped, groomed, and ready for execution.
  • Metrics & Reporting
    • Maintain sprint health metrics: velocity, burndown, cumulative flow, team capacity vs. output.
    • Use data to drive retrospectives and evolve sprint predictability and throughput.
  • Technical Awareness
    • Understand the basics of microservices, APIs, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and QA practices.
    • Work with DevOps and QA to ensure readiness for builds, deployments, and test environments.
    • Participate in grooming sessions to ensure stories are estimable, testable, and technically viable.
