Job Overview

Clinikk is on a mission to revolutionize healthcare and insurance for millions of Indians. Our goal is to provide an affordable, all-inclusive health membership that combines our exclusive healthcare benefits with group health insurance.

We have established 10 modern primary care clinics across Bengaluru, offering unlimited access to family medicine doctors, free medicine and tests, specialist reimbursements, and group insurance for hospitalization. Supported by prominent investors, our team includes seasoned healthcare professionals, technologists, and alumni from top universities.

The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end design of AI-first interfaces assisting doctors in delivering personalized care and supporting the usability of health insurance products. This involves applying strategic thinking and systems-level design to define delightful and accessible user experiences that align with Clinikk's mission.

The role requires balancing user needs, clinical protocols, and business goals when designing for multiple platforms (web for doctors, mobile for patients/customers). The candidate must use qualitative and quantitative research to understand doctor and patient workflows; synthesize insights into user journeys, personas, and opportunities.

Collaboration with product managers, physicians, engineers, data scientists, and insurance specialists is crucial to validate hypotheses, plan sprints, and ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate should explore and prototype new interaction patterns, including conversational UI, adaptive dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows; iterate rapidly to test with users.

Responsibilities include owning the design craft from low-fidelity sketches and information architecture to polished UI and micro-interactions; ensuring accessibility and compliance with medical and insurance regulations. The ideal candidate should also define and evangelise design principles, frameworks, and processes that improve efficiency and consistency across our products.

Additionally, the candidate will hire and mentor junior designers and define a design-driven culture.
