The Role:

  • Develop high-quality software by applying software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Emphasize first-time right, automation, reusability, maintainability, and secure coding in daily work.
  • Create holistic designs for development using Test-Driven Development to ensure reusability and extensibility of capabilities in future versions.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify project scope, estimate timelines, and develop approaches and designs for features/epics.
  • Implement architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of products.
  • Work independently within a SAFe Agile model with other developers, BAs, and Architects to meet end-business and performance goals.
  • Drive conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivered software meets business objectives and has the highest quality.
  • Participate in code reviews (self and team) and suggest/fix any defects/design issues identified.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of product features as per the Product Roadmap.
  • Support issue analysis/triaging, provide fixes during test phases, and resolve production issues to ensure key Product SLAs are met.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in the transition of application components to testers.
  • Present and highlight features in product demos to wider audiences/customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java/.Net/Oracle/SQL and web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience with cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Experience in RESTFul Webservices & API framework, OAS3 APIs.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience with Agile Development practices and processes.
  • Experience with our Platforms/Products is a plus.
  • Preferred Experience in developing packaged software (Products) preferably in the banking, insurance, or financial services areas.
