Strategic Transformation Director
A forward-thinking and experienced professional is sought after to spearhead our organization's digital evolution. This individual will be responsible for driving innovation, efficiency, and growth across the enterprise by overseeing a team of Business Analysts and developing key strategic plans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain IT software applications that meet business needs and objectives.
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap that aligns with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts/PMs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and analysis to implementation and drive adoption in the field.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new software solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and data analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, marketing, and finance, to understand their needs and translate them into effective digital solutions.
- Manage multiple digital projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and within budget.
- Regularly report on the progress and impact of digital initiatives to key stakeholders.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Strategic Digital Transformation & Execution
- Development and approval of a 3-year digital transformation strategy within the first 6 months.
- On-time and on-budget delivery of key digital projects (e.g., new software implementation, mobile app launch).
- Percentage of key business processes automated and digitized.
2. Software Solution Implementation & Adoption
- Reduction in average time to complete service-related tasks due to new software.
- Achievement of user adoption rates within a specified timeframe.
3. Team Management & Development
- Successful recruitment and retention of top talent.
- Completion of professional development goals for all team members.
- Positive scores on employee engagement and satisfaction surveys.
4. Business Process Optimization & Efficiency
- Quantifiable reduction in operational costs or increased revenue from new digital processes.
- Improvement in key performance metrics.
- Successful resolution of process-related bottlenecks identified through data analysis.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Regular, well-received progress reports to key stakeholders.
- Positive feedback from department heads on collaboration and project outcomes.
- Timely and clear communication of project milestones and changes to all relevant teams.
Competencies (Skills essential to the role):
- The ability to understand business needs, processes, and problems to translate them into technology solutions.
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): A deep understanding of how software is built, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Expertise in methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Lean to manage projects efficiently and adapt to changing requirements.
- Knowledge of how to connect different software systems and platforms to create a unified digital ecosystem.
- The ability to plan, implement, and manage organizational change, helping employees adapt to new technologies and processes.
- The skills to mentor, motivate, and guide a team of Business Analysts.
- The ability to build strong relationships with executives, department heads, and other key players to gain buy-in and support for digital projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to identify complex problems and propose innovative, technology-driven solutions.
- Understanding of budgets, return on investment (ROI), and how technology initiatives impact the company's bottom line.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong understanding of the industry landscape and best practices in IT management.
- Demonstrated track record of successful IT strategy development and implementation.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a technology or business-related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering digital transformation projects.
- Experience leading a team of Business Analysts is required.
