Job Title:

Logistics Manager

 

About the Role:

This role involves managing and overseeing the end-to-end import, export, inland transport, and logistics processes for sensitive semiconductor equipment, oversized cargo, utilities, gas, chemicals, other direct/indirect materials, and finished goods products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish logistics processes for inbound and outbound transportation from all global and domestic locations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Manage transportation and logistics across multiple 3PL sites, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as transportation delays, supply disruptions, or natural disasters.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations concerning import and export, storage, and distribution of gases and chemicals.
  • Analyze logistics workflows and KPIs to identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage reverse logistics.

 

Qualifications:

  • A preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field, along with experience in logistics and supply chain management.

 

Desired Experience Level:

  • Minimum of 12-14 years of proven experience in import/export operations, preferably within manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience specifically in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Regulatory knowledge: extensive understanding of ODC cargo, gas and chemical logistics, including regulations.
  • Logistics and supply chain management: strong understanding of international logistics, 3PL management, inbound/outbound logistics, multi-modal transportation, freight forwarding.
  • Negotiation and communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders globally and negotiating effectively.
  • IT proficiency: competence in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and potentially specific logistics/trade compliance software.
