Finance and Sales & Distribution Functional Consultant

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing ERP activities during organizational transitions such as company separations, mergers, or acquisitions. This includes end-to-end process mapping, configuration, data migration, compliance, and integration with external systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Transition Planning & Execution: Design and implement processes for company separation, including inactivation of accounts, closure of company codes, and data extraction strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope of divestiture and ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements.
  • Finance Module Expertise:
  • Configure and support modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and multi-currency setups.
  • Handle intercompany settlements, period-end closures, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities (continued):

  • Data Migration & Integration:
  • Lead historical data extraction and handover to acquiring entities.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Finance modules and third-party systems.

Requirements:

  • 12–15 years of experience in JD Edwards ERP with a focus on Finance and cross-functional modules.
  • Proven experience in at least one company separation, merger, or acquisition project.
  • Strong understanding of JDE configuration, data structures, and integration points.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, audit readiness).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
