As a Junior Accountant, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining the financial health of an organization. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to build a career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Transaction Processing: Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments ensuring all financial data is accurately entered into the accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP, QuickBooks). Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and assist with preparing payment runs.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Assist in preparing customer invoices, tracking receivables, and following up on overdue payments. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
  • Expense Management: Process employee expense reports and verify supporting documentation. Track and categorize office expenses.
  • Taxation Support: Assist in the preparation of documents for GST filings and other statutory compliance. Support in calculating and deducting TDS as per regulations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports, such as trial balances, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets, under supervision. Support in financial data analysis as required by senior accountants or management.
