Business Development Professional

The Business Development Representative is the primary interface between TD SYNNEX's customers and suppliers. This role is responsible for executing suppliers' strategies, ensuring the complete sales cycle to maximize revenue, net gross profits, and customer satisfaction by developing deep relationships with key individuals in supplier organizations and partners.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement supplier-specific initiatives to drive growth.
- Engage with channel partners and vendors to foster strong relationships.
- Execute credit management, order processing, and AR collections efficiently.
- Focus on operational excellence by managing pipelines, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with existing BDMs to understand market potential and develop a solid market base.
- Work with channel partners to enhance sales competencies and close deals through hands-on involvement and coaching.
- Coordinate supplier-provided technical and sales training on new products and technologies.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Possession of a Master's or Postgraduate degree in sales is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field is required.
- Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Possession of basic clerical and data entry skills.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
- Able to converse and write effectively in English and a local language.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.
- Possession of strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
- Able to work constructively under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
- Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
- Able to exhibit sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
- Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.
- Able to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level.
- May involve exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, high places, wet and/or humid conditions, and outside weather conditions.
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
- On-call availability required as necessary.
- Professional, office environment.
- Frequent travel required (50%).
