About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT professional to provide day-to-day technical support for our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system administration, end-user support, and basic network management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, productivity tools, and application issues.
- Monitor and maintain LAN connectivity; provide support for routers, switches, and network devices.
- Assist with cloud service administration (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Support implementation and management of firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
- Ensure data safety by managing and monitoring system backups and recovery solutions.
- Maintain IT asset inventory for hardware and software resources.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- At least 24 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network support.
- Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, servers).
- Fair understanding of LAN, switches, routers, and basic networking protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS troubleshooting.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, or Azure).
- Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus, and IT security practices.
- Understanding of backup systems and disaster recovery processes.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
