Job Title: Career Placement Strategist
Overview of the RoleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for leading placement initiatives, driving industry absorption, and building strategic partnerships with HR leaders and recruiters.
- Lead placement initiatives for trainees and drive industry absorption.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR heads, recruiters, and industry partners across sectors (Finance, Consulting, BFSI, IT, EdTech).
- Organize campus drives, interviews, placement days, and corporate panels to foster meaningful connections between trainees and industry stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate placement dashboards, hiring trackers, and alumni records to ensure seamless coordination and optimal results.
- Identify, engage, and onboard new corporate partners for training, internships, and hiring collaborations, aligning with their needs and goals.
- Design proposals, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and partnership frameworks that cater to the requirements of corporate partners.
- Support client companies with consulting-driven HR and talent solutions, addressing their unique challenges and objectives.
- Represent the organization in networking events, conclaves, and CSR partnership opportunities, fostering relationships and promoting the company's mission.
- Collaborate with the sales/consulting team to identify business-to-business growth opportunities through corporate alliances, driving revenue and expansion.
- Generate leads for executive education, FDP/MDP programs, and consulting projects, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities.
- Ensure smooth coordination between academic partners and corporate stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct pre-placement training sessions (resume workshops, mock GD/PI, industry talks) to equip trainees with the necessary skills and confidence.
- Connect trainees with mentors and alumni for career guidance, providing valuable insights and support.
- Gather employer feedback to refine the curriculum and placement preparation, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
- Maintain weekly dashboards on placement numbers, corporate outreach pipeline, and MoU conversions, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage CRM databases of recruiters and track active job openings, optimizing recruitment efforts and increasing chances of success.
- Share monthly placement & corporate engagement reports with leadership, providing actionable insights and informing strategic decisions.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in career development, recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is crucial.
- Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
