Accounts Payable Professional Job

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team.

This role involves processing vendor invoices, managing payments, and maintaining accurate records for sales tax and 1099 reporting.

  • Invoicing and Payments: Process and verify vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to company policies.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate regularly with vendors to resolve payment inquiries, disputes, and other account-related issues.
  • Tax Compliance: Maintain accurate records for sales tax and 1099 reporting, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax laws.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
  • Experience with accounting software - QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations (1099, sales tax, etc.).

As an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization by accurately processing invoices, managing payments, and maintaining compliant records.
