Project Manager Job Description

The Project Manager is a senior-level role that oversees the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and closure. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and a proven track record of delivering results on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To own the responsibility of Project management office of the organization, set up the upcoming manufacturing projects
  • Responsible for overall management of the projects including coordinating with statutory bodies for necessary approvals
  • Supervising members of the project team; and overseeing project implementation, financial and administrative oversight, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation of the project

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute with at least 18 years of experience
  • Strong preference for candidates with expertise/experience in the chemical industry
  • Demonstrated diplomatic, management, and communication skills to liaise and advocate with governments, contractors, internal stakeholders, financial partners, thought leaders, and other implementing agencies
  • Proven ability to write technical reports and program documents and deliver presentations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to communicate cross-culturally
  • Experience managing, designing, implementing, and evaluating multi-million dollar projects
