Role & responsibilities

  • Executive and support end-to-end process engineering activities for new and ongoing manufacturing projects.
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct process capability studies, time and motion studies, and root cause analyses to resolve production issues.
  • Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality, maintenance, and production teams to support product launches and process changes.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Evaluate and implement new equipment, tools, and automation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards and industry regulations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
  • Train production staff and ensure knowledge transfer of new processes.

Academic & Professional Qualifications:

BE/ B.Tech Chemical Engineering

Experience Required:

3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Skills required:

Proficiency in using engineering software

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools is a plus.
