Job Title: Business Development Associate

The primary responsibility of this role is to source and acquire new business opportunities within the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) segment.

To achieve this, you will work closely with our team to identify potential clients and develop strategies to attract them to our bank. This will involve building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs, and presenting our products as a solution to meet those needs.

Key Performance Indicators for this role include:

  • Sourcing new business opportunities within the SME segment
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to attract new clients
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or commerce
  • Proven sales experience in the SME segment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Technical Competencies:

  • Working capital finance knowledge
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions

Work Relationship:

  • Manager/Direct Report
