As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in process automation, electrification, motion, and robotics.

Your Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing bids/estimations for various products such as substation automation, PLCs, analytical products, instrumentation, excitation systems, AVR panels, HT motors, VFDs and drives, large system drives, LV switchgear, MV switchgear, building automation systems, and residential, distribution, and control products.
  • Understanding customer specifications/requirements and applicable IEC or ISA standards.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 2 to 15 years of experience in preparing bids/estimations in process automation, electrification, motion, and robotics for all industries.
  • Highly adept at understanding customer specifications/requirements and applicable IEC or ISA standards.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Diploma or engineering degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel globally based on project needs.
