Job Description">The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of various lab facilities across multiple sites. He or she will ensure that all test equipment and solutions are calibrated and certified, and collaborate with different teams to update and review electrical and mechanical needs.">

The Electronic Test team is responsible for conducting electronic test activities on avionics engineering programs. The Eng Supp Spec II works closely with the Aero team to update and review electrical, Mechanical needs are met for different test setup as per product specification.

He or she will also be responsible for maintaining and optimizing lab layout to create space for upcoming programs.

  • Knowledge of using different lab instruments and tools like DMM, Analyzers etc.
  • Must have strong work experience with Cable harness fabrication (crimping & Soldering) as per standards.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of different kinds of power used across labs (AC & DC).
  • Plan the lab layout for different types of test benches and explore opportunities for lab space optimization.
  • Plan electrical and Mechanical requirement of different lab across HTS site and support deployment of test benches in lab.
  • Cable fab, Soldering, Lab Equipment Handling, ESD in lab and have good understanding of IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Must have electrical & mechanical integration knowledge.
  • Proactively connect with users and collaborate with product teams to understand the overall test solution needs.
  • Effectively map the competitive landscape, benchmark the design and technology trends
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of industry experience in lab management with hand-on experience in equipment calibration, testing and maintenance.
  • Diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience on dealing with different teams across organizations for coordination of lab upgrade and maintenance.
  • Should have knowledge of different kinds of cable harness and connectors (DSUB,Circular).
  • Should have a good understanding of different lab equipment, their functions and input requirements.
  • Should have good understanding of Lab electrical, Mechanical and cooling requirement,
  • Go-getter attitude and ability to maneuver in complex, abstract and dynamic business scenarios
  • Should have good understanding of AC and DC power supply systems.
  • Prior hands-on experience on test solution
