Job Description:

We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to contribute to the profitability of our organization. The successful candidate will provide thorough and competitive cost/pricing analysis in the bid and proposal process.

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for managing the overall cost/pricing process, ensuring the effective analysis of customer requirements, development of competitive bid pricing, and contribution to winning proposals. Additionally, they will provide financial reporting support to stakeholders as required.

  • Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
  • Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their specialty
  • Works on problems of a diverse scope
  • Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instruction on new assignments

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects
  • Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, client-level P&L, objectives, and KPIs
  • Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company
  • Work with the sales and delivery teams to define pricing structure for company services offered
  • Able to effectively read and understand technical/requirement documents as well as legal documents such as customer contracts
  • Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry conditions
  • Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels
  • Other duties as required

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year college or university and 5-8 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Proven experience developing clear and accurate deliverables from SME and technical source materials
  • Prior experience building pricing models
  • Must be able to think critically and develop well-reasoned analysis; identify the relevance and importance of information, understand the logical connections between ideas, and solve problems systematically as well as creatively
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build consensus and partnership
