Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying funding opportunities, developing well-structured concepts, and crafting polished proposals to secure grant money for various programs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner, and a deep understanding of the nuances of program development and implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2-3 years prior experience as a proposal writer with a grant-seeking organization and a history of submitting successful proposals.
  • Knowledge or deep interest in the natural world, conservation, and sustainability.
  • Ability to grasp and convey the nuances of program development and implementation.
  • Prior knowledge of fundraising sources for biodiversity and conservation is desirable.
  • Analytical thinker who can develop a structured proposal that conveys program outcomes in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time zones.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PPT, and Excel, etc.
