Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced server support professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing second-line server and storage-based support, deploying and managing changes, building and rebuilding servers that support e-commerce environments, and managing mid-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive monitoring and fault diagnosis of servers and storage systems
  • Rebuilding and upgrading existing servers and systems
  • Managing and deploying changes to servers and storage systems
  • Anti-virus deployment and monitoring
  • Designing and producing management reports for server and storage health and capacity management
  • Ensuring server security

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills using intelligent troubleshooting techniques
  • Good communication skills to liaise with technical teams via phone, email, and chat
  • Ability to work with other technical teams to understand business and functional impact
  • Experience in managing small projects and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Self-motivating with the ability to identify and define development requirements
  • Flexible to overtime requests and able to work in a fast-moving environment

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in an e-commerce environment
  • Understanding and experience of working with server and infrastructure technologies

Essential:

  • Proven track record in a technical environment
  • Industry-recognized qualifications such as MCP or MCSE are advantageous
