Cloud Architectural Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Architectural Support Specialist to oversee the operational stability and performance of our microservices-based applications hosted in Azure Spring Apps platform. As a specialist, you will be responsible for timely analysis of customer reported issues that pertain to the solution.

You will lead a team of support engineers, collaborate with other development teams, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure the reliability and scalability of our microservices architecture. Your role will involve daily triage of issues, unblocking support engineers by collaborating with onsite architect and customer, and mentoring junior staff members in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

A solid understanding of Java Spring Boot microservices architecture in the cloud is essential. You must have experience with monitoring tools and practices for microservices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Azure App Insights), as well as proficiency in Java and Spring Boot Microservices. Strong communication skills are also necessary for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  1. Deep understanding of microservices architecture, preferably Azure Spring Apps, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  2. Proven experience (8+ years) in a technical leadership role supporting microservices-based applications.
  3. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to incident response and root cause analysis.
  4. Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  5. xExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
