Lead Cloud Infrastructure Specialist JobWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to lead our cloud infrastructure design, creation, configuration, and delivery using automation best practices and a proactive strategy. This role involves overseeing the automation of infrastructure builds in cloud environments.The successful candidate will provide expert technology assessments in support of automation and migration to cloud, and lead the automation of operational processes. They will also develop and drive improvements, maintaining/monitoring production and non-production systems to ensure maximum efficiency and security.This position requires ensuring compliance, legal, infosec, and privacy concerns are addressed in deployed product components. The specialist will automate the full SDLC lifecycle process for application and infrastructure as code workloads.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, create, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices and a proactive strategy.
  • Oversee the automation of infrastructure builds in cloud environments.
  • Provide expert technology assessments in support of automation and migration to cloud.
  • Lead the automation of operational processes.
  • Automate the full SDLC lifecycle process for application and infrastructure as code workloads.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and extensive experience with infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Kubernetes YAML, Helm, or Terraform.
  • Proficiency in using advanced monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Kubectl).
  • In-depth understanding of core Kubernetes concepts, including pods, services, volumes, deployments, operators, and stateful sets.
  • Extensive cloud experience (AWS or GCP).
  • Advanced working experience in Linux environments.
  • Advanced working experience in Windows environments.
