About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our DevOps engineering efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and technology assessments. They will be responsible for designing, creating, and delivering cloud environments using automation best practices and a proactive strategy.

  • Lead the design, creation, configuration, and delivery of cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Oversee the automation of infrastructure builds in cloud environments.
  • Provide expert technology assessments in support of automation and migration to cloud.
  • Develop and drive improvements, maintaining/monitoring production and non-production systems.
  • Ensure compliance, legal, infosec, and privacy concerns are addressed in deployed product components.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, create, and deliver cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices and a proactive strategy.
  2. Automate infrastructure builds in cloud environments.
  3. Assess technology needs and make recommendations for automation and migration to cloud.
  4. Develop and implement process improvements to maintain and monitor production and non-production systems.
  5. Ensure security and compliance in deployed product components.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning and management tools like Kubernetes YAML, Helm, or Terraform.
  • Proficiency in advanced monitoring and debugging tools.
  • In-depth understanding of core Kubernetes concepts.
  • Extensive cloud experience (AWS or GCP).
