Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team.

  • In this role, you will provide day-to-day technical leadership to development teams and deliver detailed technical design to clients.
  • You will interface with offering managers to understand customer requirements and assess software solution architecture design.
  • Your expertise will enable you to provide technical sizing references to support release managers and development managers planning.
  • You will work closely with IBM business units, IaaS teams, and 3rd party vendors to co-design and co-develop IC4V solutions.
  • Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and cloud computing is essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with VMware vSphere, Cloud Director, and Aria Operations
  • Experience in integrating VMware environment with other subsystems
  • Large-scale infrastructure design, engineering, and support
  • Infrastructure architect with proven record for delivering high-quality solutions
  • Security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols
  • Cloud networking, including VMware NSX
  • Microsoft Windows and Linux system administration or development
  • Working knowledge of Software Defined Network principles and technologies
  • Software development lifecycle, test principles, and execution, agile development methodologies
  • Cloud based solution development and IBM Cloud technologies
  • DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, SRE
  • Cloud security, data privacy, and compliance requirements
