Airport Operations Specialist Role

As an Airport Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of airport systems and applications. Your expertise in the Airline Industry and previous experience working on Airport systems will be invaluable in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain Airport systems, including Crew, Ground, Departure Control, Turn Around, Baggage, and loading systems.
  • Work with GDS systems to manage flight operations and ensure accurate passenger information.
  • Maintain DCS systems for Reservations, Passenger Check-ins & Boarding, Baggage check-in, Load management, and Crew systems for scheduling, tracking, and crew resource optimization.
  • Monitor and operate automated baggage handling systems, creating incident reports as per incident management tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any stream with relevant travel experience.
  • IATA Certification or Diploma in Travel and Tourism is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good analytical and research skills, along with troubleshooting and coordination skills.
  • Ability to achieve stringent service level agreements and meet deadlines.
