Job Overview: Warehouse Operations Coordinator

The primary function of the Warehouse Operations Coordinator is to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring seamless and cost-effective product movement while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management:
    • Coordinate inventory audits and monitor stock levels to prevent discrepancies.
    • Support implementation of efficient warehouse layouts and processes for optimal productivity.
    • Develop and maintain effective inventory management systems to track stock movements.
  • Inventory Control & Order Fulfillment:
    • Process and expedite orders in a timely manner, ensuring accurate documentation during receipt, storage, and dispatch.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and logistics partners to optimize order fulfillment strategies.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer requirements.
  • Transportation & Vendor Relations:
    • Manage transportation operations, including tracking inbound and outbound shipments and escalating delays or issues.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with transporters and third-party logistics providers.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of all logistics activities, including shipment documentation and compliance records.
    • Maintain awareness of company policies and applicable regulations to guarantee adherence.
  • Reporting & Cost Monitoring:
    • Compile and analyze logistical metrics to provide actionable insights to management.
    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel when required.
  • Ability to work extended hours during high-volume periods.
