Job Description

Investec is a specialist bank serving clients in the UK and South Africa. We're looking for a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for end-users, resolving issues with desktop systems and applications.
  • Ensure all technical issues are logged and tracked in our ITSM system.
  • Work with the team to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge management systems to improve team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate studies or training in Information Technology.
  • Experience supporting Windows in a corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and workflow management.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Experience with Azure AD and Entra ID.
  • Ability to support Wi-Fi devices, iPhone, Android, and iPad.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC/Laptop hardware and printer issues.
  • Experience supporting a multi-user enterprise environment.
  • Good working knowledge of networking, DNS, DHCP, IP, and VPN.

  • Experience in the financial sector, particularly on a trade floor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent team player, highly motivated, ambitious, and flexible.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
