Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary
Nasdaq is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and internal teams. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as implementing and delivering releases to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Implement and deliver releases to clients
- Work closely with business analysts and other members of the team to analyze and design efficient solutions to fix reported issues
- Run Stock Exchange feeds and projects to integrate or upgrade new and existing trading systems and handle change requests
Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial experience in the trading/financial IT industry
- Commercial experience using Linux including a good knowledge of scripting
- Experience with Git and data integration and/or manipulation projects
- Experience in working in a globally distributed team
- Understand financial trading data (pre trade, post trade) and financial trading protocols (e.g. FIX, OMnet, ITCH, OUCH)
- Ability to take ownership of tasks from issue analysis, solution design to release deployment
- Ability to multi-task and handle priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education Qualification:
- Degree qualified in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience in Data Center, Trading, Computer, or Network Operations
