Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Value Chain Analyst.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading research and analysis of existing and potential value chains in our program sites.

This role involves designing and implementing methodologies, conducting stakeholder consultations, and generating evidence-based insights to inform promotion strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the approach for value chain scoping and analysis with a sustainability lens.
  • Identify essential stakeholder groups and develop robust field survey instruments.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and field surveys.
  • Lead technical discussions on prioritization and analysis of value chains.
  • Draft and deliver high-quality technical reports, including value chain maps and sustainability analysis.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Business Administration, or related field.
  • English and Hindi proficiency.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in sustainability, natural resources management, and/or nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in value chain analysis and promotion activities; at least 4 years of total experience in projects in India.
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced skills in value chain analysis, including sustainability dimensions.
  • Field survey design, stakeholder engagement, and interview facilitation.
  • Report writing and technical presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior staff and enumerators.
