Lead Financial Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely delivery.
  • Direct treasury, cash flow management, and capital allocation to optimize financial performance.
  • Lead risk management initiatives, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and board members to provide insights and recommendations on financial matters.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial controls, efficiency, and automation.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, fundraising, and investor relations activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, preferably at the senior management or executive level.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and corporate finance.
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Expertise in risk management, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
