Expense Management Specialist

About the Role
As an Assignment Support Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth pre-payroll activities. This involves assessing timesheets and expenses, conducting thorough reviews, and working closely with sales/contractors for corrections. You will receive timely approvals from clients and share them with payroll teams as per the required filing convention for further processing.
Key Responsibilities- Review timesheets and expenses for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to client-specific checklists.
- Verify expense sheets and ensure final amounts tally correctly.
- Communicate directly with contractors or sales teams for discrepancies in expense sheets and receipts submitted.
- Analyze data and prepare an in-depth overview of payroll-related queries.
- Process emails received in shared inboxes according to deadlines and urgency levels, responding within 24 hours of receipt.
- Save expense sheets and receipts according to Payroll team filing conventions and seek client/manager approvals without impacting turnaround time.
- Work according to the payroll schedule to prevent payment delays.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the manager.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency of timesheet and expense review processes.
- Be organized, a master multitasker who keeps things on track and on time.
- Solve problems proactively before they arise.
- Show attention to detail in documents, processes, and communication.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically in all interactions.
