Job Title: Axway API Gateway Developer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain APIs using Axway API Gateway. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API development, integration patterns, and securing enterprise APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines system requirements and generates software/hardware performance specifications.
  • Leads the evaluation, design, and integration of all enhancements or new releases of the system.
  • Meets with cross-functional teams on planning, upgrading, testing, securing, and servicing IT solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing APIs.
  • Experience working with API design patterns and authentication/authorization controls using OAuth.
  • Experience with large-scale migration projects involving multiple application teams.
  • Agile team experience (Scrum, Jira, Rally, etc.).

Skills:

  • API development and integration patterns.
  • Securing enterprise APIs.
  • Web service implementation paradigms (REST, SOAP).
  • WSDL and Swagger understanding.
  • Integrated development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code).
  • Version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
