As a seasoned professional, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge APIs that drive digital transformation for clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in integration implementation and architecture, with hands-on expertise in API management tools like IBM API Connect (APIC). They should also have sound knowledge of REST API, API lifecycle management, security, and API gateway patterns.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure APIs using IBM API Connect
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for API deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and governance of APIs
  • Implement API-led architecture and work with API Management tools to drive business outcomes

Key Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in API management and integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and articulation skills, including technical documentation and guideline writing
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management to collaborate across departments
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor teams in a technical capacity

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience working with Backstage, Git Hubs, and Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with Observability concepts, Open Telemetry, and Splunk
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments
