Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Spikewell. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in web development using .NET Core, C#, and Azure. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions, working closely with the team to ensure quality and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack software solutions using .NET Core, C#, and Azure.
  • Develop and maintain back-end components using .NET Core, implementing robust database schema design, data modeling, and data processing workflows.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
  • Drive coding standards and best practices, perform code inspections, and conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Address technical challenges by providing innovative solutions, investigating new technologies, and implementing process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on .NET Core, C#, and Azure.
  • Advanced proficiency in back-end development using .NET Core, C#, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with API design principles, including OpenAPI, and experience building RESTful services.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and optimizing applications in cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns such as MVC, dependency injection, and separation of concerns.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud-native services in Azure, such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Knowledge of additional back-end frameworks, libraries, or tools (e.g., Entity Framework).
