Accounting Expertise

We seek an experienced accounting professional to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions.

About the Role
  • This position will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing balance sheets, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure business transactions are accurately recorded and reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  2. Work closely with team members to assist with payables and receivables.
  3. Assist with the annual audit process, including drafting financial statements and related notes.
  4. Analyze expense variances to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  5. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payment and invoicing.
  6. Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
  7. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  8. Document financial transactions by entering account information into our system.
  9. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options and identifying opportunities for growth.
  10. Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  11. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  12. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  13. Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  14. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  15. Safeguard financial information by completing database backups and adhering to internal controls.
  16. Pursue continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  17. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless integration of accounting services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems, including [insert specific tools].
