Senior Financial Accountant: Intercompany Process Management

Job Description:

The selected candidate will assume a senior-level role within our organization, overseeing the end-to-end intercompany accounting process. This includes managing a team of 3-4 members and providing guidance on day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include understanding the intercompany accounting process at Medline, reviewing month-end activities performed by the IC team, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve global IC variances.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling billing for IC transactions of US entities, reviewing BS reconciliation of IC GLs in detail, and providing solutions to multiple stakeholders on adhoc and regular queries.

  • Responsibilities may include:
  • Handling End of End IC process
  • Manage team of 3-4 members
  • Oversight of day-to-day operations
  • Resolve queries/problems
  • Review Global IC BS and P&L Variances
  • Coordinate with stakeholders
  • Post top-side entry in Oracle FCCS for high-value variances
  • Review BS reconciliation of IC GLs in detail
  • Timely follow-up with global Controller's on pending data/open queries
  • Handle queries from Audit and Tax teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CA – 8+ years of work experience in Finance Controllership/Consolidations, Inter-Company Accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of Consolidations accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience in handling Inter company accounting/IC ledger reviews/reconciliations
  • Month end close experience required
  • Transformation projects experience desirable
  • Team handling experience required
  • End to end process knowledge of intercompany process
  • Experience in handling multiple stakeholders from different global regions
IS Experience:
  • Multiple ERP systems knowledge (SAP & QAD)
  • Consolidation Platform Experience (Oracle FCCS, Hyperion, Tagetik, Trintech etc.) - Good to Have
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Blackline - Good to Have
