We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage our US hotel and resort portfolio's financial operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in hotel accounting functions including income journal loading, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.

The role involves handling daily income audits, multi-currency bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end processes, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with US accounting standards.

  • Key responsibilities include performing daily income journal loading and reconciling revenues with supporting reports from property management systems (PMS).
  • The accounting professional will be responsible for managing bank reconciliations across multiple hotel accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Daily tasks also involve supporting month-end close activities including accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and intercompany allocations.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of US Hotel Accounting experience is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of income audit, AP/AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.
  • Experience with multi-currency accounting and handling multiple hotel/resort portfolios.
  • Proficiency in Excel and hotel-specific accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with US stakeholders.
