Job Summary

About the Role:

  1. We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and reconcile intercompany transactions.
  2. This position involves performing journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and eliminations related to intercompany accounts.
  3. The ideal candidate will ensure timely settlement of intercompany balances and investigate any discrepancies.
  4. A key responsibility is to prepare and analyze monthly intercompany reconciliations and resolve any issues that arise.
  5. Candidate must be able to coordinate with cross-functional teams globally to address intercompany matters.
  6. Additionally, the selected individual will support month-end and year-end closing, including intercompany confirmations and reporting.
  7. Daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks are also part of this role.
  8. The job requires performing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any variances.
  9. Generate and review financial reports (P&L, balance sheet) is another key aspect.
  10. Candidate must ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  11. Liaising with internal and external auditors as required is an important duty.
  12. Supporting process improvement and automation initiatives is also essential for this role.
  13. Collaboration with AP, AR, and FP&A teams is crucial.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
