About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineering Lead to spearhead our performance testing initiatives for large-scale, high-traffic systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in performance testing tools and scripting, as well as strong knowledge of correlation, parameterization, and test data management.
  • Experience with system metrics analysis (CPU, memory, disk I/O, GC, thread states, DB connections) is also essential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of realistic load and user flows using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, k6, or Blazemeter.
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with APM tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus/InfluxDB.
  • Diagnose performance bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
  • Forecast performance growth, define KPIs & SLAs, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor testers, review scripts/results, and collaborate with developers, architects, and DBAs.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in software development and/or quality assurance.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality performance testing results.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Familiarity with cloud scaling patterns on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
