Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst/Strategy Specialist

About the Role

The role of a Credit Risk Analyst/Strategy Specialist involves developing strategies for risk segmentation, underwriting, line management, and account management to enhance the organization's credit portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop recommendations to adjust credit policies by analyzing credit and financial performance data.
  • Utilize statistical scoring, segmentation, and regression techniques to identify areas of improvement.
  • Perform risk, financial, and data analyses using Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to inform business decisions.
  • Research customer and management queries using risk systems and data to provide timely insights.
  • Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats to minimize losses.

This is an intermediate-level position that requires strong technical skills in statistical procedures, including regression, decision trees, linear and nonlinear optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Risk Strategy Development procedures and concepts, as well as proficiency in SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
