
Director of Channel Sales and Development

Job Purpose:
- We are seeking a seasoned professional to develop and execute distribution channel strategies, driving growth, revenue, and market share in the retail sector.
- The ideal candidate will achieve targeted Gross and Net Acquisition goals for the distribution channel while maintaining budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- The successful candidate will contribute to overall sales strategy to optimize distribution channel profitability.
- Establish targets for the Distribution channel, covering business and distribution KPIs, including Gross, GAS, Distribution UAO, DURO, and Revenue metrics.
- Develop a channel expansion strategy by evaluating distribution coverage, penetration, and performance.
Operational:
- Achieve circle revenue targets for the distribution channel across all products and brands.
- Expand distribution network by appointing and monitoring partners in new and existing areas.
- Collaborate with Sales Head to determine COCA/incentive plans for channel partners and monitor their implementation.
Developmental:
- Identify development areas for distribution manpower and recommend training programs/interventions.
- Work with SEM teams to develop training programs for internal sales teams and distributors on new products and initiatives.
Core Competencies:
- 8-10 years of distribution experience in Telecom/FMCG/Mass Retail Distribution industry.
- Proven leadership skills in multi-geography teams, bringing best practices to the organization.
- Experience in distribution planning and channel strategy implementation.
Suitable candidates will have strong influencing skills, analytical and commercial ability, effective relationship management skills, and proven ability to function within a matrix-organization.Independent thought leadership and drive to execute are essential for success in this role.
