Job Description:

Seeking a meticulous and skilled Accounting Specialist to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and compliance for US-based clients.

As an integral member of our international accounting team, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including record journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and ensuring timely posting of transactions.

Accurate accounts payable and receivable records are crucial to the success of this role. You will maintain these records with precision and ensure they are up-to-date at all times.

Key responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per US GAAP, performing reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and inter-company balances, and supporting preparation of management reports and financial dashboards for clients.

Additional duties include assisting with US tax filings, sales tax returns, and payroll processing, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards and client-specific requirements, and liaising with external tax consultants and auditors when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2-4 years in US Accounting / Outsourcing / KPO industry
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax compliance, and payroll processing
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
