Cloud Data Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems on cloud platforms. This role involves developing, deploying, and managing big data pipelines using Azure services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data architectures using Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Spark Core.
  • Develop and deploy ELT/ETL pipelines in a Spark-based environment, utilizing tools like PySpark, Python, SparkSQL, and Scala.
  • Experience with real-time data processing using Apache Kafka, EventHub, IoT, Structured Streaming, and Stream analytics is required.
  • Implement data orchestration using Apache Airflow for ELT orchestration.
  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in cloud computing, particularly with Azure services.
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in Agile Methodology.
  • Qualifications - BE, MS, M.Tech or MCA.
