Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer

The role of a Cloud Data Engineer is crucial in designing and implementing scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This position requires an individual with extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, SQL development, and data integration tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and architecting data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Creating end-to-end data pipelines using Apache Beam/Google Dataflow/Apache Spark.
  • Designing and developing data integration and preparation tools using cloud technologies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify downstream implications of data loads/migration.
  • Providing best practices for pipeline operations and enabling simplified user access to massive data sets.

Preferred qualifications include certification in Google Professional Data Engineer/Solution Architect and expertise in at least two of the following technologies: Relational Databases, Analytical Databases, NoSQL databases.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT or professional services.
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, SQL development, and data integration tools.
  • Certification in Google Professional Data Engineer/Solution Architect.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following technologies: Relational Databases, Analytical Databases, NoSQL databases.
