Job Title: Territory Development Manager
Sales Target Achievement:
- Develop and manage sales budgets for the industrial segment.
- Work closely with Zonal Distributors, Area Distributors, and dealers to meet their sales targets (FGIs, QGIs, etc.).
Market Development & Penetration:
- Design local-level schemes and incentives for dealers in collaboration with ZD.
- Identify new business opportunities by prospecting institutions and converting them into customers.
- Implement Below-the-Line (BTL) activities in assigned territories.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and concerns.
- Provide in-shop branding and signage at dealer outlets to enhance visibility.
- Keep the Head of Department (HOD) informed about competitor activities.
Dealer/Channel Management:
- Develop strategies for expanding and managing dealers.
- Regularly visit ZDs, ADs, and dealers as per planned schedules.
- Support implementation and adherence to national procedures and policies.
Collections:
- Ensure timely payment collections from ZDs, ADs, and dealers.
- Settle all financial claims of channels within agreed timeframes.
- Monitor number of prospects visited and new business opportunities added.
- Track dealer/channel visits and appointment of new dealers.
- Manage credit days effectively.
- Stay updated on competitor activities and assess scheme impact.
Working Relations:
- Foster close collaboration with Sales Head, Marketing, Commercial, and Service departments.
- Maintain excellent coordination with channel partners and subordinates.
Decision Making:
- Propose product introductions or discontinuations based on market analysis.
