Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Operations Professional to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing timely and accurate processing of insurance applications, ensuring all operational activities are undertaken in a seamless manner, adhering to SLAs and TAT management, maintaining quality parameters, and managing vendors effectively.
  • Key responsibilities include processing new business and policy servicing transactions for HDFC Re's insurance business within prescribed standards, handling channel expectations and escalations as a first point of contact, implementing adequate controls and measures for transactions executed by the operations unit, tracking and reporting deviations with superiors and department heads, managing team productivity and function costs effectively, coordinating defect management with relevant stakeholders for timely redressal, identifying bottlenecks in the processing lifecycle and implementing mitigation strategies, maintaining process documentation and repository for applicable functions, and reporting functional data and managing MIS for relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

Candidates should possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint) and good communication skills for liaison with various departments.

A solid understanding of life insurance concepts, operational and servicing background is essential. Experience in client-facing roles and exposure to life insurance systems and applications are required.

The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in a similar field.
