About the Role

As an Ignition specialist, you will work closely with clients to gather their business and technical requirements for SCADA/HMI projects. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze their current processes and translate these needs into system designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Requirement Analysis: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into system designs.
  • System Configuration and Deployment: Configure, deploy, and optimize Ignition SCADA/HMI systems for real-time monitoring and control of plant floor operations, process automation, and data visualization.
  • Integration: Ensure smooth integration of Ignition with industrial devices such as PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), ERP systems, MES platforms, and third-party databases.
  • Consultation & Best Practices: Advise clients on best practices for Ignition implementation, optimization, and maintenance.
  • Training & Documentation: Deliver end-user training to client teams on how to operate, configure, and maintain Ignition systems.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with industrial SCADA, HMI, or MES platforms.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation, including system design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or working directly with clients on industrial automation projects is highly preferred.
